M27
M27 The Dumbell Nebula is the
remnant of a star that exploded a few thousand years ago.
It is around 1,200 light years away glows at mag 8.1. This
picture is a combination of 95 minutes of exposure time taken on June
11, 2004. This was first imaging session since repairing
the mount's fried electronics. I believe that it took
a lightening hit, didn't get a picture of that though...
